Bulletins des séances de la Société Vaudoise des Sciences Naturelles
Founded in 1819, the SVSN has as its goals the study, advancement and publication of the natural sciences, exact sciences, and related fields. As such it fosters a broad interdisciplinary dialogue between experts and the public in the Canton Vaud, draws together academic and private researchers to share in its activities, and encourages students and researchers to publish their work in its Bulletin and Monographs.
The Bulletin and the Monographs of the SVSN have been published since 1842, featuring research in biology, geology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, history of science, and scientific methods. These publications are exchanged with more than 120 institutions worldwide, and are indexed in the following databases: ASFA, Biosis Biological Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, Geological Abstracts, Georef, and Zoological Records.
