The magazine Emanzipation was published from 1975 to 1996 in Basel and later in Bern, by the Organisation für die Sache der Frauen. It was an important organ of communication for the women's movement in Switzerland. It provided information about the activities and initiatives of the OFRA and covered the most important issues about women's liberation. In addition it reported on the exploitation and discrimination of women worldwide.
