Messaggero Raiffeisen : mensile dell’Unione Svizzera delle Casse Raiffeisen
«Raiffeisenbote», the journal of the Verband schweizerischer Darlehenskassen System Raiffeisen (subsequently: Schweizer Verband der Raiffeisenkassen), was published on a monthly basis in German from 1912 onwards. The first publication in French, «Le Messager Raiffeisen», followed in 1916 and the first Italian edition, «Messaggero Raiffeisen», in 1965.
«Raiffeisenbote» was initially printed by Müller-Verlag in Frauenfeld, while «Le Messager Raiffeisen» was printed in Lausanne by Bovard-Giddey. Starting from 1917, both newsletters were printed by Walter-Verlag in Olten, but there were two different editorial offices until 1927.
In terms of content, the two newsletters focussed on developments at the Schweizer Verband der Raiffeisenkassen and the local Raiffeisen banks. They also contain articles on agricultural and financial policy issues as well as the ethical and socio-political self-image of the Raiffeisen movement in Switzerland.
In 1982, the German edition was renamed «Raiffeisen». The French and Italian editions retained their original names. «Raiffeisen» was last published in 1987. The French and Italian editions from the years 1983 and 1985–87 are missing.
«Panorama», the journal of the Schweizer Verband der Raiffeisenkassen, replaced the existing German, French and Italian editions in 1988. The standardised name documents the ideological solidarity within the Swiss Raiffeisen movement.
The journal provided insights and outlooks on current topics relating to the economy, cooperatives, saving and financing.
It was published 12 times a year in 1988, 10 times from 1990 onwards, 8 times from 2005, 6 times from 2010 and 4 times from 2015. «Panorama» was published for the last time in 2016. In 2017, it was replaced by the business journal «Savoir Faire», published by Raiffeisen Switzerland Cooperative.
Success stories, trends, tips and tricks for everyday SME life form the focus of «Savoir Faire». It is aimed in particular at corporate clients of the Raiffeisen Group.
It was published three times a year in German, French and Italian in 2017 and 2018, and four times a year from 2019 onwards. «Savoir Faire» was discontinued at the end of 2021.
